Dr. Richard J. Waling, D.C.
Dr. Richard Waling is a licensed Chiropractor who has joined Warwick Chiropractic to assist Dr
Warwick with the increasing demands that a successful practice brings.
He has been working in the Tacoma and Lakewood districts and brings an additional qualities to our practice.
Dr. Waling has been in the field of medicine since he was 16 years of age when his family doctor helped him get work in a hospital x-ray department as an orderly. Being a fast and keen learner, the staff taught him how to take x-rays and his path into medicine had begun.
Following high school graduation, he joined the army as a combat medic and surgical technician, operating from Fort Sam Houston, TX. Graduating with honors, he was sent to Walter Reed Army Hospital where he received advanced instruction and training. This enabled him to help in an array of surgical procedures which included brain and open heart surgery.
His learning and experience continued when he was sent to South East Asia in treated wounded soldiers and civilians.
Prior to getting into chiropractic college in Lombard, Illinois and Portland, Oregan, he spent some time as an athletic trainer at Michigan State University. He graduated as a chiropractor in Western States Chiropractic College.
Through his vast experience and learning, Dr Waling promotes well being and an optimal health to all his patients. He has been based on the Puget Sound area since 1980 and continues his education and learning by keeping up with the latest methods and technologies available.
He now comes in to Warwick Chiropractic and brings that wide knowledge and experience which will be made available to our patients here.
