Re: Special Thank You
Dear Friends & Family,
First things first. THANK YOU!
For what you ask?
Well, you came in for a consultation, examination and treatment. After getting all the information about what is wrong and what you can do about it, maybe you decided not to follow Dr. Warwick’s recommendations and did not start care or you did…and that’s totally ok!
Here’s a quick little work of fiction that will make it all crystal clear.
There was once a little old man who didn’t have very many friends. And every year, when the holidays would come and go, he never received any holiday cards.
He was getting a cup of coffee about one week before Christmas and a woman came into the coffee shop holding a HUGE stack of mail. She started to fumble all the envelopes and suddenly plopped them down on his table.
“Well Hello! Is it ok if I sit here with ya?” The woman exclaimed with a massive smile of her face.
“I guess so.” He said sheepishly.
“I’m Betty… nice to meet you!”
“I’m Jim… what’s with all the mail?”
“Have you forgotten? It’s almost Christmas! I get a stack like this just about every day!”
Jim put his head down…. Sipping his coffee. Then he abruptly picked up his newspaper and waked out. Not even saying a word to Betty.
As Jim walked home – he really started thinking…
“Why does Betty get so many Holiday cards and letters and I get NONE!”
“I’m not a bad person. I’ve always lived by all the rules. I’ve never done anything bad to anyone. Ok… not THAT BAD anyway!”
So what was it?
When Jim got home, he tossed his newspaper on the kitchen table… and a bright red envelope fell out…
It was a holiday card addressed to Betty.
Jim’s initial reaction was to throw it out. It was like a dagger in his heart. But then he came to his senses.
Jim put Betty’s card in another envelope and sent it to her with a short note: “I mistakenly took this home from the coffee shop. Happy Holidays… Jim.”
Four days later Jim opened his front door and saw an enormous green envelope sticking out of his mailbox. His heart beat faster as he pulled it out.
That’s right… it was a Holiday card from Betty… thanking Jim… saying how great he was… wishing him happy holidays… and inviting him to a holiday party the very next day!
That’s when something clicked in Jim’s head. He rushed out to the store and bought a whole bunch of holiday cards. He didn’t have more than a handful of friends… but that didn’t stop him…
Jim sent a Holiday card to everyone on his block and a few of the surrounding blocks. Most of these people he had never even met.
And guess what happened?
In less than a week… holiday cards started pouring in! Almost everyone Jim sent a card to sent one back. Even though they didn’t even know him!
Jim went to the party and made a bunch of new friends. And he can’t walk down his block to the coffee shop without all his new friends yelling “Hi” and stopping him to talk.
Ok… so life’s not a fairy-tail. But taking a few moments to do something good for someone else can (and usually does) go a long, long way.
What’s all this have to do with you being thanked? …
Have you seen the movie, “Pay It Forward?”
The plot of that movie is very similar to Jim’s little story. A young boy is given a homework assignment to think of something that will change the world and put it into action.
The 12 year old boy decides to do something good for 3 people. Instead of paying back favors… he paid them forward.
The three people the little boy helps…. In turn helps 3 other people… and they help 3 people… and so on… and so on… until an incredible social change takes place.
Now, just like Jim’s fiction story, maybe there is no perfect world and perfect happily ever after. But what if even just a small percentage of people started doing good things for other people – FOR NO REASON AND WITHOUT ANY EXPECTATION OF RETURN. NO SELF INTEREST WHAT-SO-EVER?
Can you imagine if just 1% of the world did something nice for 3 people?
Check this out… it’s pretty amazing: According to the U.S. Census Bureau there are 6,785,861,652 people in the world. 1% of that is… A WHOLE HECK OF A LOT!!!! And 3 times that is THREE TIMES A WHOLE HECK OF A LOT!!!!!
You get the point. And that is the real point of this letter…
To thank you for taking the time to come in and get the valuable information you were looking for. And to let you know that we will help you in any way that they can.
Know this: Health care is a scary mess right now. And when you are in pain… things can be even scarier. And confusing. We are here to help you in any way that YOU choose.
Dr. Warwick believes in helping as many people as possible. Unconditionally. Paying it forward so-to-speak. So you should never be afraid to call. And if you decide in the future you’d like to give Dr. Warwick’s care a try… you should know that you are not committed to anything. You can give it a try and see if it’s right for you.
Everyone has fear of starting something new and fear of the unknown. But it is much easier if you just try a little bit and see if it’s for you… without any commitment.
Wouldn’t it be nice if everything operated like this? If everyone was just trying to help each other and do what’s best for YOU for a change?
The world would be a much nicer place… don’t you think?
Well, that’s it. If you have ANY questions about ANYTHING… just give Dr. Warwick a call. He will do his best to help you.
So… once again… THANK YOU. And don’t hesitate to give Dr. Warwick a call.
Oh yeah… one more thing:
Many times you have people you want to help… but don’t know how. It’s possible that some of those people you want to help can benefit greatly from Dr. Warwick’s care. If you tell them about Dr. Warwick and the things in this letter…. They can give us a call… so both you and Dr. Warwick can help them!
Now how’s that for paying it forward?
…and maybe you and Dr. Warwick will get a few more holiday cards this year.
And who can’t use a few more holiday cards…. Right?
