The Circulatory System Zone in the Zone Technique
The circulatory zone is one of six zones in the Zone Technique. Dr. Pete Goldman developed the Zone Technique from the Zone Therapy that Dr. Thurman Fleet created in 1931. Each zone is named after a body system, and this one takes its name from the heart, blood vessels and lymphatic system.
Naming a zone after a body system doesn’t mean an adjustment treats that system. It’s how the technique organizes the assessment.
How This Zone Fits Into Your Visit
In Zone Technique, the circulatory zone is one of six areas Dr. Warwick checks as part of a whole-body assessment. What he finds helps him decide where to adjust. It’s one input alongside a standard neuromusculoskeletal exam, not a stand-alone diagnosis.

Zone 6 - The Circulatory System
- One of six zones in your assessment
- Checked alongside a standard exam
- Helps decide where to adjust
What We Don’t Claim
Chiropractic care, including Zone Technique, isn’t a treatment for heart, blood-pressure, circulation or lymphatic conditions. If you have symptoms like these, see your medical provider. We’re happy to work alongside them.
Call 911 for chest pain or pressure, sudden shortness of breath, or signs of a stroke. Sudden swelling, pain or warmth in one leg also needs urgent medical care.
What the Research Says
Zone Technique hasn’t been tested in clinical trials the way spinal adjustment has. Dr. Warwick uses it as a structured way to assess you and plan your adjustments, alongside a standard exam.
What Zone Technique Is Part Of
Dr. Warwick uses Zone Technique as part of chiropractic care for problems like these:
- Back or neck pain
- Headaches that start in the neck
- Muscle tension and stiffness
- Sciatica
Recent, uncomplicated back or neck pain often improves within 1–4 visits. Sciatica usually takes 6–8, and car or work injuries 8–12 or more. These are typical ranges from our practice, not guarantees.
The circulatory zone is one way Dr. Warwick organizes your assessment. It isn’t a separate treatment for the circulatory system.
