Chiropractic care is very beneficial to civilians. You only have to look at many chiropractors reviews to see how it has helped many. Our practice alone have acquired many reviews over the years of which we are very proud of. It can also help our military class as well and what with it being Memorial Day week, we thought it would be a great opportunity to not only thank our military for remaining strong and enabling us our freedoms that we enjoy every single day, but also to highlight this article about how the chiropractic profession is helping them.
Firstly, I want to open with the opioid crisis which has hit society in so many ways has also hit our military as well. While many people in civilian life do struggle with many conditions that are a result of poor posture, bad working habits, sports injuries, technology and much more, the military also have their fair share of problems.
When we think of the military we think of combat, of our soldiers going out and fighting, but of course, there is more to it than that. You have the back up trades and professions that provide the support for our front lines heroes. Any industry you can think of in civilian life, you pretty much have replicated in the military as well. You have cooks, barbers, engineers, medical staff and more. The same conditions that exist in civilian life exist in the military with one added aspect. In the military, training, exercises and the impact on the body is generally much harsher.
It’s not wonder we see so many in the military struggle over the years with pain and back conditions for example, and just like in civilian life, the first thought is to reach for a pain pill. And the slippery slope begins.
Fortunately, the military chiefs has been clever and over the past couple of decades have increased the availability of chiropractic care and treatments to service our forces. Thanks to chiropractic care, the use of opioids will not be the problem it once was and our forces can receive treatment that not only means minimal side effects and no drug use, but also actually attacks the cause of the pain rather than just the symptoms.
Check out this great resource that has looked at the way chiropractic care has revolutionized pain treatment and the huge benefits to our guys and gals in the forces. And remember, this same treatment is available to you through us at any time you want it.
Once again, we thank our military for looking after us and we are so glad that chiropractic care is freely available to them as any one else. It really makes a difference and it is so pleasing to see the profession being taken more and more seriously as a viable means of helping to relieve pain.
If you or a loved one is in pain, contact us today. We are walk in friendly, no appointment necessary (unless you do need to be seen at a specific time, you can), and we never offer long term treatment plans. We will see you for as long as you feel necessary.
Once again, we wish all a Happy Memorial Day this week and ask that you spare some time to think about and honor our servicemen and women, after all, their work and sacrifices are the reason we are free.
