Not Long to Use Up Your FSA

by | Nov 27, 2019 | General News

Less than a month to the end of the year. Incredible that we are at the final part of the year already. Here’s to a great 2020 on its way. Anyway, one of the things those of you with FSA or HSA funds should do is to ensure you have used up your funds for the year so that you don’t waste any of your health savings. Many flexible spending plans have a deadline of December 31 and can’t be rolled over.

In other words, you gotta spend It! Or you lose it!

But do not fret. You still have most of the month of December, and yes, we know it’s the holiday season and you can easily lose track of time and before you know it, 2020 has rolled round and you’ve said goodbye to your funds.

We understand this can be a stressful time of year, so much to do and plan, but we’d like you to know that we have a stress free solution.

If you’re one of the lucky ones who are able to roll over some of your funds to next year, great, but what about those of you who don’t have the time to use them? (Really, you should cash them in if you are not well or in pain, even if you are struggling for time. We get that life can get in the way. Just don’t be that “martyr”, we do encourage you to take some time to for the sake of your health).

Anyway, we at Warwick Chiropractic & Massage have a solution for you. And this solution will really help if you’re really strapped for time this month.

As FSA funds are “use it or lose it”, many or our patients who find they have FSA funds remaining at the end of the year, are able to prepay for future chiropractic or massage care. We keep your FSA monies on account and you use up the credit as you receive services in the future!

So if you find you have funds left over and you feel you won’t be able to fully utilize them this year, our option will be of great use for you. Imagine after this busy holiday period, you can come in, get an adjustment, feel yourself loosen up and then follow up with a relaxing massage with one of our therapists. And it’s all prepaid, nothing more out of pocket. Depending on how much you’re able to put in, you might find you can have several adjustments or massages.

Doesn’t that sound much better than letting that money go to waste?

If this appeals to you, give us a call today (don’t put it off, you’ll forget!) Call 360-951-4504 now and let us know what you’d like to do. Let us help take some stress off of you.

Don’t forget, FSA / HSA funds can be used for chiropractic or massage.

In the meantime, happy holidays and stay out of pain!
